Very nice setup. I had to launch my 26' Shamrock in one of my farm ponds to adjust my inner trailer bunks to get it perfectly resting on the stringers under the inboard engine! My outer bunks are on top of the trailer frame rails. No traffic to deal with - but I had to use my tractor! It needs some depth to float it on and off.

First, thanks for doing this one, way overdue for someone to talk about this very important issue. On the rear of my boat, the transducer is VERY close to the end of the bunks, so fit is so important, miss it by six inches and it will shear off the transducer. Another issue is tongue weight, it can be a serious problem if there is too much or too little. I believe it is 7-12 percent of the boat's weight, and it can be adjusted if it is out. A bathroom scale can be used if it is within capacity of the scale, take that weight, divide by the weight of the boat with full load, times 100.

Are you going to put some adjustable rollers down the middle if you hit a bump it could shift and get into the fender
